Hi Everyone! My name is Ananya Kumaresh and I am a sophomore in college! I’ve been a lover of food all my life but have recently gotten into the world of healthy eating and nutrition as a lifestyle! Some of my favorite foods are broccoli, any type of nut butter, tofu, and of course: AVOCADO!
In March this year (at the start of the pandemic), my doctor informed me that many of my hormone levels were off and that I needed to make some diet and lifestyle changes to protect my health. Per her recommendation, I adopted a gluten-free, dairy-free, minimally-processed, whole-food vegetarian diet and although it was hard at first, I felt amazing!!!
As a result of coming home from college due to the pandemic, I decided to experiment quite a bit in the kitchen I made some of my favorite foods in a way that would fit this new way of eating and I baked a ton (all without refined sugar or flour!!)
As my interest grew, I decided to take a few courses about nutrition and healthy living, so I could share my experience and ideas armed with the right information:
1. Stanford Introduction to Food and Health
2. Stanford Center for Health Education: Nutrition Science Certification (8 Weeks)
I am so excited to have this platform and I can’t wait to share the latest nutrition research, easy and affordable meal-prep ideas (especially for the busy college student), and help you radiate with energy and confidence!
Let’s be friends! I’d love for you to follow me on Instagram or Twitter!!
